After a recent trip to Los Angeles where Cee finally connected with long-time internet homie Teo Hunter of LA-based craft beer experience entity Dope & Dank, Teo had the idea to do a remix to the craft beer-soaked "Hazy" to make it even more dope, and of course, dank. Teo brought in Fort Worth, Texas's J/o/e, a "Brewed Up" craft beer fan and MC, and even dropped a verse himself, to create a fun remix that turned the beer elements up further than any rap song since "BrewHeads".

Y'all might have noticed the lack of blog posts in the last week or so. That's because we've been in Austin, Texas at SXSW, bitches. We barely had internet, plus with the whole attending panels/checking out a billion shows/drinking all day, there just wasn't time, goddamnit. So in the last fortnight, I've been at Canadian Music Week and SXSW and seen so many incredible shows, it'll take me all day to write about it. Some of the highlights from CMW included: Shad, French reggae outfit Dub Inc, Eric Hutchinson and Janelle Monae. SXSW awesomeness came courtesy of folks like James Blake, City & Colour, Shad (I saw him like 3 times in a week(, Slaughterhouse, South Dakota soul rockers ShowBaby, Los Rakas, Collie Buddz (STRAAIIIIIIGHT!), Yuck, J. Cole, Melanie Fiona, the AMAZING Marsha Ambrosius, Miguel, Bliss N Eso, Blue King Brown (and having dinner with the band after, awesome people), Black Milk, Curren$y, and Big K.R.I.T. I actually nearly cried when I was denied entry to see Jamie Woon on the last night. He was at the top of my list and I don't know why I left seeing him til the last day. I was genuinely gutted.
The most upsetting part was that Blu and Odd Future both sucked ass. Check out the video below from a vlogger we met at the panels, Anthony Fantano from The Needle Drop.com. Anthony and fellow vlogger Sami (and another dude, forgot the name, sorry guys) were the funnest bastards I've ever encountered on a panel, so it was both entertaining and informative. Plus Anthony was a real nice guy, so double win. But check his review of his SXSW experience below, particularly the Odd Future review, which is spot on.
Normally any piss-take of Hip Hop makes me cringe. I fucking hate it, always have. I guess as a Caucasian dude from Australia, I kinda copped it growing up for my love of the culture (yup, I need a tissue), so I'm a tad sensitive to this type of shit.
The Rapping Weatherman, however, entertained the hell outta me. Dude spits a 2 minute verse over Young Money's 'Roger That' beat for the Austin, TX local Fox station. Can't front - it's corny yet clever, and it's clear they're taking the piss outta themselves too. Word to his 'posse' and getting the news anchors involved too. Gold.
Aight, I can't even front like I'm not disgustingly jealous at everyone who are at SXSW this year. I swear, we gonna be there next year.
So this is the type of amazingness we're all missing out on. Nas and Damian Marley rocked a lil set, among about a billion others. I heard Muse were doing some crazy show there too. I don't wanna talk about this any more...
Here's a couple of high quality videos with live footage of Wayne and Young Money live in Texas. Boom.

This week I am proud to present Ms. Marshana H. She is a 22 year old small town Pennsylvania girl with a big personality. Now she has moved from a little town in Pennsylvania to a big city in Texas in order to advance her modeling career. When Ms. Marshana is not rippin the runways or photo shoots she is working nonstop to obtain her bachelor's degree in interior design. Check out the interview with Marshana below.
DJ Grain: Where are you from?
Marshana: Small town outside of Pittsburgh, PA.
DJ Grain: How many years have you been modeling?
Marshana: A little over a year.
DJ Grain: What are the misconceptions people commonly have about models that are untrue?
Marshana: People often tend to assume that models are superficial and uneducated. Though I cannot speak for everyone, I can say that looks only last so long and can only take you so far. I personally do everything I can to absorb knowledge from various venues so that I'm a better business women.
DJ Grain: What shows, videos, magazines, etc. have you been featured in?
Marshana: I was one of the first models featured in the GlamModelz online magazine. (Check it out http://glammodelz.com/glam/?p=167) I've worked several promotional events such as wine tastings and fragrance events for Axe and Estee Lauder.
DJ Grain: What photographers have you worked with?
Marshana: Jeff of Visions East Photography, Terry of Hughes Photography, Scott Cross, Chris of Chris Chapa art, Barry Simpson, Ron of Big Shot Photography...
DJ Grain: What photographers would you like to work with?
Marshana: There's a ton of them, state side and beyond. I'm interested in working with anyone with a great vision who I feel I can grow and benefit from.
DJ Grain: Can you describe the grind of a model trying to break into the industry?
Marshana: I'm no expert by any means, but for me it's just about constantly pushing myself. Pretty face does not always translate into a pretty picture. Knowing this, when it's go time on the shoot, I get into the zone and realize that leaving without plenty of shots to choose from is not an option for me. No one likes their time to be wasted, so I bring my energy to the table and I expect the same of those I work with. I'm still fairly new so it's a constant learning experience, but I love every moment of it.
DJ Grain: Any words for the ladies out there that have aspirations of entering the modeling industry?
Marshana: Be smart, strong, and mostly be yourself. If somethings doesn't feel right, go with your gut. Check references. Practice, like you would a sport! If it's not within your comfort zone, it'll show in the pictures. It's important to think outside the box and push yourself, but still you should stick to your morals and what feels right for you.
DJ Grain: How can people contact you for booking?
Marshana: I can be reached by email lovelyladydivine@yahoo.com
