Ahhh shit...some more free music fo' that ass. This time it's from our HiPNOTT Records labelmate G.C. and the homie Tokyo Cigar (who produced a joint on our recent Remix Album), who come together (pause) as The Cave Kingz. Peep...
"This morning we have a free EP release from two of the DMV's most talented up and comers. HiPNOTT producer G.C. has teamed up with emcee/producer Tokyo Cigar to create an EP reminiscent of grimey 90s hip hop. The lyrics are raw and the production knocks. Upon first listen, you may hear a strong Wu-Tang influence.
These 5 tracks are just a morsel of hip hop that you will hear from these two before the summer is out. HiPNOTT’s own G.C. has been mad at work and has two more releases coming soon. A hip hop album with emcee MaG and an R&B EP with HiPNOTT’s First Lady, Dasha.
Tokyo Cigar, on the other hand, is a master at both the beats and on the mic. Leaving the production solely to G.C. for this release, Tokyo steps front and center behind the mic. Emcees, look out for KevinNottingham.com's ever MC Contest hosted by Tokyo Cigar on the beats next month!
And if you think we’re the only site that recognizes these great talents, you’re wrong. G.C. was recently featured at BigMouthsOnline and Tokyo Cigar had a feature over at WYDU. Props to both of these guys doing it up big!"
Shit, Silky...on point every week. Eternia is murkin' the vlogs right now...somebody sign this girl!!!
Fuck, this is some shit. This is the first single off the supergroup's self titled album due to drop August 7th. Insane.
Emilio is the future. Sayin'.
What up fam?
Y'all BEEN not heard the last of HiPNOTT this month. The homie Nobody Famous just dropped a mixtape to support his album launch at the end of the month. Check the blurb below from Kevin Nottingham and cop that!
Allow me to share with you a free mixtape, in promotion of Nobody Famous' upcoming release, Order Up! Vol 3: Chicken & Waffles. Please feel free to disseminate and post on your respective blogs. Thank you in advance for your support!
Coming out of L.A. by way of the ATL, Nobody Famous is about to embark on a journey to stardom. With two volumes of his Order Up! series under his belt and countless other productions locked away in his vault, he is about to release his best work to date -- Order Up! Vol 3: Chicken & Waffles. Though promoted as an artist, Nobody Famous is a producer first and foremost. Producing all of his own material, as well as tracks for Dasha, Wax, Jarell Perry, Justin Figueroa, Chris Young and many others, Nobody Famous is on his way to building a small empire. He has built his own unique sound from scratch as his latest album is totally sample-free, which is virtually unheard of in today's hip hop and R&B.
Most of you may be hearing of Nobody Famous for the first time with our recent campaign for the new album. So allow me to introduce Nobody Famous to you via the following free mixtape, which collects some of his best productions prior to the release of the new album. If you're digging the mixtape, I guarantee you'll love the new material.
Order Up! Vol 3: Chicken & Waffles will be available on iTunes and Amazon.com July 28th on HiPNOTT Records.

E don't quit. Big ups to MP and Torae. Peep this...E, when's the album dropping??
Peep some live footage from the HiPNOTT labelmate Nobody Famous' album launch last week.
Check out HiPNOTT labelmate Dasha live. Murked it.
Here's Hova at a recent Vegas show rockin' what is rumoured to be the intro to 'Blueprint 3'. The God is back.
Here's the video for Drake's big single, 'Best I Ever Had'. Apparently it's directed by Kanye West, which I could believe based on the broad-factor. Pretty damn uninspired clip, and Drake's acting left a lot to be desired (well, he was on Degrassi, but I ain't hating). Anyway, peep game, this joint is finna be huge.
Inverse - So Far from Donlee Brussel on Vimeo.
So this is an older joint off the homies Inverse's debut 'So Far: The Collection', but it's being re-released for MTVU's Freshman competition. Check that, freshness.
So here's the first peek at S-K-Y-Z-O-O's debut album, 'The Saving'. Interesting shit. Keen for this one.
Yes, yes. What up E? My girl don't quit. Back again with another video. Fuck I'm hanging for this album now lol. Hurry up, homegirl! :)
Ridic.
Another rip from the homie Kev:
"This track has been around a while. It first appeared on Drake’s 2007 mixtape Comeback Season [download], but was incomplete. The full version includes Elzhi’s verse…production handled by 9th Wonder with a cool Anita Baker sample. Hit the cut for the link."
Dudes don't mess around. Big ups to the extremely talented Dwele for this very quick tribute to the late, great MJ.

Re-post of Kev's lil note about our label mate Nobody Famous' album launch. If y'all in the LA area, head down!
Sup y'all! Yes, this IS a serious thing, despite the hilarity. Pure Aussie comedy rawness. So, producers LISTEN UP!
"This is so fucking hilarious! M-Phazes pulls off his debut as hip-hop’s leading infomercial actor/producer. Technically this is a vlog ad for his new Dirty 30 Drum Disc Vol. 2, but in reality it’s comedy gold. If M-Phazes music career doesn’t pan out, dude could definitely do stand up. I don’t see that happening though…. his beats kick ass!"

Sneaker pimps, what do y'all think of this collabo with LV & 'Ye? I personally thought WTF on first sight, but its a retro "Back to the Future" Reebok look I reckon... and at $600+ beans too, I'm not sure how many consumers gon' dig that. I certainly don't. I can imagine him making a packet off this lil venture either way!
Check out the vid!
