Yung Santa (Phat Tony & Theo3)

First up, from the whole Movement Fam across the world, we hope everyone had a great Christmas, copped stacks of pressies and stuffed their faces. So to go with the occasion, the homie Theo3 is about to drop yet another project, this one with Phat Tony and it's called Yung Santa. Happy Holidays yall! The work never ceases and the YUNG SANTA EP is ready for a late December 2010 release in support of the Beatz to da Streetz music program out of Toronto. (www.b2ds.ca) 6 original songs of pure goodness mixed by Toronto mainstay Scam of Time Bandits music. Phat Tony and Theo3 spontaneously created this jam packed cache of fresh songs in just 2 weeks time with a goal of limitless creativity, social awareness and good vibes. It's always a good time for new Lauryn Hill music. Since the broad done went crazy, her output has been akin to that of D'Angelo post-coke binge.

This is the first new joint from Ms Hill in a hot minute and the shit is fresh. I really dig it. Can't wait to hear more from this ridiculously amazing artist, so long as she keeps her head together.

So, it's New Years Eve, 2009. Damn this year went quick.

It's been a hectic one for the Fam; we inked a deal with Kevin Nottingham's HiPNOTT Records in March; released Cee & Bekah's 'The Soul Movement Volume 3: The Final Chapter' with Mick Boogie & Terry Urban in November; Notion and I lost our grandfather in August; Bekah and I sold our crib; we had the first full, successful calendar year at The Movement Fam blog; we've had dramas, highs, lows and everything in between.

We want to thank EVERYONE for their support of the site and our music all year, it's been phenomenal.

So thank you 2009; it's been real. What the fuck up 2010?? LET'S FUCKING GET IT!
