Bad Meets Evil - Fast Lane (video)

So here's the first official video from the Shady and Nickel collab album, Bad Meets Evil. I fucks with it. Kinda corny for Royce but I guess he's gotta get that money. Should be insane either way.

Dr. Dre - I Need A Doctor ft Eminem & Skylar Grey (video)

I'm mad late on the song, but I think I damn near got the scoop on the video, seeing as it only has just over 5000 hits at the time of posting. This tune is boss. It's by far the best I've heard Em spit since he came back. He clearly wrote Dre's verse, it has the unmistakable flow, especially towards the end. That said, it could be more of a vehicle to push Em's career than Dre based on the content of Dre's verse. Take a listen and hit me with what you think. Is Em blowing his own horn a bit here?

I also included the recent Grammy's performance, which also has "Love The Way You Lie" with Rihanna and even Adam Levine on keys.

Eminem on 60 Minutes

There's been a fair bit of noise about Em's interview on 60 Minutes, so here it is. Peep the info after the jump. PS. Apologies for the lack of posts. A3C has kicked our ass, but has been the best experience of our careers thus far. We'll do a proper wrap up in the coming days, we just winding down in ATL for a bit.

'CBS’ “60 Minutes” chronicled Eminem’s rise from being bullied in school to becoming the biggest-selling artist of the decade. Journalist Anderson Cooper followed Em to Detroit, visiting his old 8 Mile stomping grounds, an underground club where he battled, his private recording studio, and one of his sold-out concerts at Detroit’s Comerica Park.

Marshall Mathers told Anderson how he stores all his lyrics on notepads (aka “stacking ammo”), not being interested in meeting his father, refraining from using profanity in his house, being two hours away from dying of a drug overdose, and commencing with his first stadium show since being sober.

Em hopes his story can help others weather the storm. “If I can help people that have been through a similar situation, then why not?” he said.'

Eminem and Rihanna - Love The Way You Lie (live in LA)

Once again, another reason why living in North America is the fucking shit.

Check out Rihanna's live show where she brings out surprise guest Eminem. 'Coz that would happen Down Under. Dopeness.

Oh and me and Notion went to the B.o.B gig in Melbourne last night. Wow. One of the illest shows I've ever seen. So much energy, awesome presence. Just pure showmanship. Dude is a superstar. He'll be playing arenas in a year if the universe is how it should be.

Eminem & The Roots perform "Won't Back Down" on Jimmy Fallon

After both dropping albums in recent weeks, Eminem and The Roots team up on Jimmy Fallon. Of course, The Roots are Jimmy's house band, which I still don't get. Where do those dudes find enough time in the day?

Still not sure what's up with Pink being on the album version of this track. Glad she wasn't around for this one.

Classic joint this one. Really glad to see Em back in the spotlight amongst the big names in hip hop. Hard to believe this track is almost a decade old but its an undeniable classic now.

Jay never gets enough credit for standing up on this one because Em just completely bodied it.

Cinque "Talkin' 2 Myself" ft. Kobe (Track produced by DJ Khalil)

Aight, so a nice lil bit of controversy for ya.

Check the above video for 'Talkin' 2 Myself' from Cinque, with Kobe on the hook. Sound familiar? A certain Mr Mathers used the exact same beat and hook for his most recent album, 'Recovery' (my fave song on the album). How did this happen? I have zero concrete facts, but as we all know, YouTube comments might as well be bond, so check the details...

"No money was ever asked from Cinque for the track, so that is not an issue. A batch of beats were sent to Cinque from Khalil through a mutual friend (No ID) as a favor and Cinque happened to use the track w/ no intention of marketing it or making profit from it, just to further build an online presence and work on a project. Yes Eminem paid for the rights, but that still does nothing to disprove Mr.Mathers used a recycled track that has been floating around for almost 2 yrs, lame."

"in Cinque's defense, he did not steal. The producer (Khalil) provided the track to Cinque himself a full year in advance through mutual connects in the industry. It would be the producer's and label's fault for not fact checking and looking into the record which was out on Youtube since April 5th, 2009."

"Everybody that knows nothing about the industry and how shit works, shut your cock holsters cause you're looking real stupid rite now!!! As far as legally, what can a lawyer prove about this situation except the facts that are already known? Cinque aquired the beat 1yr to 1 1/2yrs ago thru some of the peeps he knows in the industry, recorded a song and then shot a video!!! One year or so later, the same instrumental was sold to Eminem!!! How is that Cinques fault? Everybody S.T.F.U."

Eminem - Not Afraid from DomS on Vimeo.

I think this dropped the other day but I missed it. So the album leaks around the same day as the video for the first single drops. Coinkidinks? These days, I think not.

Once again, still vibin' off Em's album so don't really wanna stop it to watch this one just yet. Will jump back on it in a sec, but as with 'Fest, I'm sure it's the shiznit.

Rhymefest
has been taumbout this album for fucking ever. Looks like it's nearly here. Check the video for the first single, Say Wassup, featuring my favourite MC, Phonte. Yeah, that's right, I said 'favourite MC'.

Gotta be honest; I haven't watched this yet coz I just got the Eminem leak, and kinda buggin' off of that. I'm sure it's ill though.

As the anticipation for Em's 'Recovery' album builds, check out his interview and performance of ''Not Afraid' on Friday with Jonathan Ross. I'm actually looking forward to this album, as I wasn't messing with 'Relapse' at all.

Eminem - Not Afraid (teaser video)

I've been reading all the hype about this joint on Twitter the last few days, so I was glad when I stumbled upon this teaser video for the single, 'Not Afraid', off Em's latest LP 'Recovery'.

The track is HEAT. To be honest, I haven't really felt Em's new shit (granted, they're all feature verses) for some time, so I'm actually looking forward to this album.

What Cee be on... B.o.B

This is my SHIT right now. I already am in love with Paramore, Hayley Williams' voice is incredible (I don't give a fuck that they got the Twilight joint), so to hear her murk a Hip Hop joint is even more impressive. Oh and there's Part 2 on the album that features Eminem, though his verse just doesn't really do it for me.

I heard it's a single, I'll post the video as soon as it's available. Just a brilliant hook, great song, dope beat. B.o.B FTW. I gotta say that I love the album 'The Adventures of Bobby Ray' even though most cats are hating.
