The arresting visuals, directed by Jonathan Emile and shot by King Richard, follow Cee as he discovers his neighbour (played by Angela Nashed) has been a victim of domestic abuse, so much so that she does something very drastic to escape her situation. The upbeat vibe and positive lyrical content are juxtaposed with the dark themes, providing a jarring and thought-provoking experience for the viewer.

New joint for August, sons! (Yeah it's late, I know) Penguin Prison opened for Miike Snow in Toronto recently, and I LOVED this jam. I got seriously fucked over by my job around the same time, so this song was perfect to let all that shit out on. Enjoy.
A youthful barrage of neu-disco, progressive and electro-sprinkled synths, J-Lah's Time Trap EP contains sounds for every EDM lover. The lead single, Time Trap, provides an alluring steady climb of introductory synthesizers and, after much foreplay, spontaneously combusts into a drop of rich, characterful melody with an enormous amounts of energy. Conversely, You Don't Understand conveys more intimacy - a contemplative homage to influences of past, present and future. The Time Trap EP is JLah's first official record release, and we are extremely proud to welcome him into the Burner family.
Stacks pimpin'. Looks like a display home though. Ain't nobody livin' there.
