Truth

So my over-indulgence, combined with this freezing Canadian weather, have resulted in a bit of bed-ridden flu steez. A good friend passed me some links of some amazing documentaries and interviews to help pass the time, so I thought I'd share them with y'all. The first one is a brilliant interview with Mr David Icke, a personal favourite of mine. The other two are to do with the late Aaron Russo, Hollywood producer and freedom fighter. One is a fantastic interview conducted by Alex Jones, and the other is Mr Russo's film 'America: Freedom Or Fascism'. Go educate yourselves.

Masonic Monuments in Melbourne (video)

So yesterdays post inspired todays.

I've watched this video a few times already and it's really, really interesting. If you're in Melbourne, keep an eye out for different things throughout the city, coz there are SO many things that you don't notice unless you really pay attention.

And while I'm here, check the video of Lebron, Wade and Bosh getting welcomed to Miami.

Hectic Friday (Oscar Grant, Lebron and Rainbows)

Today there was so much shit going on that I thought it'd be simpler to wrap it all up in one special Hectic Friday post. First up, the decision on the recent Oscar Grant murder trial was made today. Long story short, a white policeman shot a young black man point blank in front of a crowd at an Oakland BART station, and the cop got off on a couple years for 'involuntary manslaughter'. This case had serious race overtones, hence the uproar.

The worst part was that it happened on the same day as the Lebron announcement (see below) so half my Twitter feed was about a cop getting off for murdering a human, and the other was about an athlete deciding where to earn his billionth dollar.

Oscar Grant murder/verdict

And this Lebron shit has been wild. I'm not even really a huge sports fan but it was all over Twitter today so I couldn't avoid it.

My two cents: Players leave teams and get traded EVERY FUCKING YEAR. Yeah, the Cavs lost Lebron, but so what? Shit happens. Mike retired, too. Get over it. Good on him.

Lebron decision

That said, majority owner Dan Gilbert wrote a scathing public letter about Lebron's decision, saying such sore loser bullshit like "I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER 'KING' WINS ONE" and "You can take it to the bank." Wow. What a tool.

Majority owner Dan Gilbert's reaction

And to wrap up all this seriousness with some awesomeness, check out this video (if you haven't already seen it). Never seen a human so excited about a rainbow. And aside from the video hilarity, the description reads "It was rainbowing for at least an hour on January 8th 2010." I had no idea 'rainbowing' was an adjective.

Hip Hop and Freemasonry

Aight, back on our Icke shit. Me and Thrizz have been really into this stuff lately. Here's some VERY interesting videos about how freemasonry is infecting Hip Hop; they even point the finger at some of my favourite artists, which is quite a shock. Personally, I'm not sure what to believe just yet as I'm only just getting into it, but check out the videos and judge for yourselves...

New World Order

Aight, time to take a break from all the entertainment and a get a lil serious on y'all. Peep this video. It gives a brilliant overview on the oppressive New World Order (NWO) that is imminently upon us. Keep an open mind when watching this video, although there is a lot of proof direct from the mouths of many world leaders (as you will see) as to what is really happening out there. Scary stuff.

David Icke Melbourne Lecture Wrap Up

David Icke

So, as I said the other day, I managed to catch David Icke live in Melbourne. This is his third trip to Australia, but the first since I've been aware of his work (around 6 years now). The guys at Truth Movement Australia put the show on, and it went very, very well. They're bringing out Peter Joseph (the man behind Zeitgeist) in the near future so we'll keep you posted on that.

David Icke

David entered the Melbourne Convention Centre around 40mins late to a rapturous applause and standing ovation - I've never seen anything like it. He was even given flowers at one point, which really shows how important his work is to people. His opening comments were classic Icke - he spoke about when he arrived in Australia, he was asked to go to a small room and sign a contract about his 'character' and how he will vouch not to arouse 'discord'. That was the joke of the day, classics.

David Icke

The day was split into three parts - the first covered the basics of human consciousness and the world we live in, mainly to set up the more meaty parts of his talk. This was brilliant - my favourite part was when he spoke of Jill Bolte Taylor, a neuroanatomist who had a stroke and her right brain remained conscious. Watch the video below for her amazing story.

David Icke

David went on to speak about the hierarchy of power, Barack Obama's role in everything, briefly touched on 9/11, and he even went into his infamous reptilian theory, which I love. He was seen off the stage with yet another standing ovation, and I dare say the people of Australia would welcome him back any day. Click on any of the images to go to David's website to read more about his work.

David Icke Wrap Up...to come...

David Icke

I was lucky enough to get to see David Icke live in Melbourne yesterday (hence no blog post). Wow. It was amazing, just as expected. David's infectious energy and passion for his work was extremely present, as the 1500 people deep crowd gave the man a standing ovation upon his entrance and exit from the stage; the information was presented impeccably, and as tired as I was from a hard weekend's partying, I was interested the entire time.

I'll do a proper wrap up after this weekend when I put some of the photos up. To give you a taste of David's work, check the clip below. Brilliant.

David Icke speaks on Hip Hop

Wow. So Theory and myself were flicking through Canibus videos on YouTube and we stumbled upon this video of David Icke speaking on 'blueprint rap'. I was shocked and extremely surprised to find this candid and genuine take on modern Hip Hop from a white British man - generally, folks in David's demographic don't get Hip Hop in any shape or form but he understood it to the heart of the culture.

Also, I'll be seeing David Icke speak in Melbourne this coming Saturday so I'll blog my ass off about that over the weekend.

The Obama Deception - Full Video

I posted a trailer for this a few weeks back and now the full length has been released. Check it out, it's a longun, goes for almost 2 hours, but it's worth it. Some very interesting information, and as I said, keep an open mind. Comment with your thoughts.

Oh and look out for dope commentary from legendary Hip Hop artists KRS One and Professor Griff (Public Enemy).

The Venus Project

The Venus Project

I'm pretty damn fascinated by this right now. The Venus Project was first brought to my attention in the movie Zeitgeist Addendum, which I saw for the second time at the Spiritual Cinema on Wednesday.

Check out the site by clicking on the image, and read the blurb below. It could be a whole new world.

"The Venus Project presents a bold, new direction for humanity that entails nothing less than the total redesign of our culture. There are many people today who are concerned with the serious problems that face our modern society: unemployment, violent crime, replacement of humans by technology, over-population and a decline in the Earth's ecosystems. As you will see, The Venus Project is dedicated to confronting all of these problems by actively engaging in the research, development, and application of workable solutions. Through the use of innovative approaches to social awareness, educational incentives, and the consistent application of the best that science and technology can offer directly to the social system, The Venus Project offers a comprehensive plan for social reclamation in which human beings, technology, and nature will be able to coexist in a long-term, sustainable state of dynamic equilibrium."

The Truth Movement and Glitch Bar/Cinema

Glitch Bar & Cinema

So I've posted about The Truth Movement Australia before. The founder, Adam Davis, has been travelling around Australia and visiting with folks who have signed up to the website. Tonight was the Melbourne edition, and the turnout was fantastic.

Possibly 60-70 folks rocked up to the Glitch Bar & Cinema, a place I never knew existed. It's a small, community cinema that runs Spiritual Cinema, which shows a film that will expand your mind every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. Incredible. I've attached the flyer above for the next fortnight, something I think I will attend, as I'm very curious about The Venus Project.

For all folks who want to see what's really going on in our world, see past the deceptions, the flaws in our society and how we can come together to fix it, both The Truth Movement Australia and The Venus Project, along with the Spiritual Cinema, are a great place to start. Hit me up for more info.

The Truth Movement

The Truth Movement

So I mentioned this briefly a week or two ago when I spoke on the David Icke lecture in Melbourne this coming April. The company bringing David out, The Truth Movement Australia, is something I have never seen before in this country. Adam Davis, who runs the company and arranged for Mr Icke to come to Australia when he swore he would never come again (due to a full of shit promoter a few years back), is doing a great thing for the Australian public in order to help us all open our eyes to the real truth as to what is happening around us.

Adam also informed me that he will next be looking into bringing Peter Joseph out to Australia to speak (Peter is the man behind the internet phenomenom Zeitgeist).

Atheist Bus Campaign in the UK

Atheist Bus Campaign

Aight, this one will probably ruffle a few feathers out there but fuck it - freedom of speech is a beautiful thing.

In the UK, a (damn hot) journalist by the name of Ariane Sherine (pictured above, with Richard Dawkins (scientist and author of 'The God Delusion') and Polly Toynbee (Guardian columnist)) has created a tongue in cheek campaign as part of the Atheist movement, as a response to the crazy religious advertising seen on buses in the UK. Some of the ads would spout stuff like 'Jesus died for your sins' and then quoting a URL. Folks would head over to their website and it would have (literally) quotes such as 'All non-Christians would burn in hell for all eternity in a lake of hell fire'. Ooooookay. Check the video for the full story, and click the image to visit the Atheist Bus Campaign's website.

As you would expect, religious groups around the world have kicked up a stink, but it's awesome. About fucking time someone did this. I actually, conveniently, finished reading 'The God Delusion' this week, just as I saw this campaign, and it's hit home just how fucked up this world is due to religion. It's not like I didn't know already, but damn, the leeway that is afforded to religion is astounding. I'm not even gonna get into it now, but check it out and hopefully it'll open a few minds.

Fuck the economy

Fuck the economy

Fuck a recession

So, y'all may or may not have noticed a lack of posts this week. My bad. I have become a statistic of the so-called 'Global Financial Crisis'. I was retrenched from my position as Content Editor of a major bank on Monday, after working there for 4 years. But yo, I ain't even mad. They were pretty good about it, they hit me with a decent payout (ching!) which will now open up a few doors which I thought may have been closed in the short term. Plus, since returning from the US/Canada trip, every day working there has been harder as I became more disenfranchised with the 9-5 grind.

Anyway, it seems that many corporations are buying into this 'recession'. Fuck it. It's only in your mind. Which is why I linked the image to David Icke.com. For those who aren't familiar with David's work, check out his website, he's amazing. AND he'll be in Melbourne on Saturday April 11th next year to give one of his 7 hour lectures. Boom.

Also, go check out the online movies 'Zeitgeist' and 'Zeigeist: Addendum' (the sequel) for a serious eye-opener. I already knew most of this information but it made me disgusted to even work for a bank. Get educated, folks.
