It's been a minute, y'all!
Hope you guys have been enjoying this wicked North American summer. Things haven't calmed down with The Fam! Since we last reached out, Cee and Notion had a great tour throughout Quebec and Ontario with The Bodega Brovas (USA) and Clarity (MTL); Cee wrapped shooting on the video for the world's first craft beer rap song, 'BrewHeads' (more on that later); Cee & Dr. MaD opened for the legendary Slum Village and The Pharcyde on their Welcome To DillaVille tour in Montreal; and Notion has been steady in the lab working on his debut LP 'Heart On My Sleeve Music'.
So to give y'all a little something to tide you guys over until the next major release, our good friends and partners over at 9Block Productions put this gem of a video together to the soundtrack of Cee's remix of The XX's 'Intro' from his mixtape 'The Indie Experiment Volume 1'. The footage was shot from the East Coast of Newfoundland to the West Coast of British Columbia, while it also captures some of the best views in the world, stretching more than 7,000 miles (>11,000 km) from the Nepalese Himalayas to the coasts of Maui.
You guys might be familiar with The Movement Fam's other work with 9Block - 'When The Chips Are Down', 'Young & Crazy', 'Another Day' - so keep up to date with Shane and Brandon via their website, Facebook page or Twitter!
In August 2014, we're about to drop something special on y'all. Cee teamed up with Phoenix, AZ based craft beer merch company BrewHeads to create what is most likely the world's first completely craft beer inspired rap song, so Phil Hinson (BrewHeads owner) flew all the way to Montreal to link with Shane Russell from 9Block Productions and Richard Bastarache and shoot the music video for the track in breweries, brewpubs, dépanneurs and even a beer festival! We'll be in touch in a few weeks with more info, but in the meantime, take a listen to the track from Cee's iTunes Top 10 internationally charting album 'This Is All I Know'...This Is All I Know by Cee
