Hezekiah is a thinking man. A hot minute after his amazing sophomore album, I Predict A Riot, dropped, dude is releasing the clean version for the DJ's. Although this may seem a bit tardy, it's quite time consuming editing your art for the radio. So big ups. Cop it here and check it out.
"Don't Act Like I Never Told You" from Nobody Famous has been doing extremely well since we released the single/video three weeks ago on HiPNOTT Records. Over 40 blogs/websites picked it up and I want to personally thank all of you for its success. As announced last week, Order Up! Volume 3 now has an official release date of July 28.
The next leak off the album is the official remix, "Don't Act Like I Didn't Tell You Part 2", featuring the lovely, talented Dasha. It's more or less an answer record to the original song. Dasha is currently putting the finishing touches on her debut EP, which is totally produced by G.C. You should hear that before the end of the summer, which will lead up to her debut album this fall.
And let's not forget the remix contest we held for "Don't Act Like I Never Told You." Over 30 remixes were submitted, with all different types of styles. Ultimately we decided on the remix from Dario as the official B-Side to "Don't Act Like I Never Told You Part 2". Congratulations Dario and thanks to everyone who participated! Don't forget, you can still purchase the original version via iTunes and Amazon.com.

Nickelus F from Richmond, VA, has used some of his favourite Portishead tracks as inspiration for his latest musical creation. He adds well placed verses which only serve to add to the musical trip Portishead already took us on. Nickelus F really nails each track on this sampler. Can't wait for the full release.

Tentatively scheduled for a July release, the album is the third from Nobody Famous' *Order Up!* series. The new album prominently displays Fam's diversity as both a producer and emcee and will surely grab everyone's attention.

Keeping things varied as always on The Movement Fam Blog, I stumbled upon this release from MC/Producer Blueprint recently on the web. Posing at first as short 27 minute EP of instrumental B-sides...It proved much more than that.
First a little background on Blueprint, he is the founder and owner of Weightless Recordings and is also signed to Rhymesayers Entertainment. He is one half of the group Soul Position with producer RJD2, and a member of the rap group Greenhouse Effect. He is also a skilled freestyler and came in second place in the Scribble Jam 2000 freestyle competition.
So now to Sign Language, where Blueprint melds some delightful downtempo drums coupled with eclectic jazz & soul samples, guitar riffs, classical piano keys, mexican horns, and everything else under the sun of vinyl!
Look out for his knack for picking a good vocal sample throughout this release. Best highlighted on track 2: 'Time Management Rebuild' where he lays down a beautiful Middle Eastern or possibly Asian female vocal to perfection.
If you appreciate the beauty of a well crafted instrumental with a little more to it than a 9th Wonder beat, or feeling like a bit of change up from the lack of quality new Hip Hop releases in 09 so far, then definitely download this.
Hugely unhearlded Producer Oddisee goes West Coast with MC Trek Life from L.A. One of 2008's excellent and slept on releases..
Look out for Oddisee's sample intro's on every track... Genius.
