Model Feature: Kimberley Porter

Ahhh, love a good model feature. Now, I gotta say that this young lady is absolutely incredible. I have the honour of calling her my friend now, and not only is she absolutely stunning, she is one of the strongest people I know and also one of the most intelligent. We held off doing this feature until Kim had her latest shoot so we could hit y'all with the newest flicks possible. Take it away...

Cee: What’s your name? Kim: Kimberley Grace Porter!

Cee: Where are you from? Kim: Born and Bred in Melbourne, Australia. My background is a mish mash of English, Irish, Samoan, Chinese, Swiss, Scottish… I’m all mixed up in more ways than one. Haha!

Cee: How many years have you been modeling? Kim: I started modeling when I was about 16 years old when I entered a modeling competition at a local shopping centre and came in 3rd place.

Cee: What are the misconceptions people commonly have about models that are untrue? Kim: That modeling is our main purpose in life! It's more often than not just a little something on the side while pursuing other areas of interest. Unless you're Jennifer Hawkins, it's pretty difficult to earn a living from modeling alone. Another misconception is that models starve themselves or become bulimic to stay thin, which isn’t always true. Usually it's a diet of cigarettes, lettuce, and diet pills that does the trick! (jk)

Cee: What else do you get up to when not modeling? Kim: I love to read and am a budding writer. Writing has always come very naturally to me, I am definitely a ‘words’ person. All things creative give me a huge buzz. Music is a big love, as is art and alternative culture. I am working on a few writing projects at the moment, I especially love the horror and thriller genres. Am stoked to see the new Harry Potter!

Cee: What shows, videos, magazines, etc. have you been featured in? Kim: Girlfriend magazine, Modern Bride, Advertorial for Pantene, TV commercials for Sprite, Skittles, Libra, and Channel V and lots of different Fashion Parades in Melbourne and Sydney just to name a few.

Cee: What photographers have you worked with? Kim: Phillip Riches, Christian Wilde, Jon Lee, and the amazing and incredibly cool chick Anita Frank who did my newest shots you see here.

Cee: What photographers would you like to work with? Kim: It’s a bit of a stretch - but the famous Patrick Demarchelier. I’ve also recently seen the work of Lucia Ondrusova which is just stunning.

Cee: Can you describe the grind of a model trying to break into the industry? Kim: Once you get representation by a good agency, the hard work really starts. Castings take up a lot of your time, stomping the streets of Melbourne rain, hail or shine with your portfolio under arm, and then you may only get one job out of 10-15 auditions or castings you go to. You have to be realistic about what you're expecting in terms of earning a living, and definitely have a second job and keep your options open. Even if you do really well, eventually you're going to want to do something that is a bit more stimulating for the mind. So don’t quit school or uni.

Cee: Any words for the ladies out there that have aspirations of entering the modeling industry? Kim: Have a crack at it - But don't let it rule your life. Also, long shoots can be really really boring and most jobs involve a lot of waiting around - so you have to be able to entertain yourself in your own mind… A touch of insanity is a definitely required.

Cee: What are your plans from here? Kim: I'd really like to get into Presenting and Acting. I can cry on cue which comes in very handy ;)

Model Feature - Jenafer Lynn Williams

It's been a minute since our last model feature. My apologies, we been slackin'.

This is the first time we've ever invited a model back for a second chat and a fresh bunch of pics; so Miss Jena is a special one. Our favourite American residing Down Under stopped by for another chat, and delivered a brand new smokin' set of flicks exclusively for the readers of TheMovementFam.com...

Cee: Hey Jena, it's been over a year since we saw you last. What's been happening?
Jena: Still in Australia..(sigh)!

Cee: What sort of shoots have you been doing recently?
Jena: Alot of lingerie work...soon to be moving into swimwear, I hope, if I can stay in shape.

 Jenafer Lynn Williams

Cee: Have you managed to work with any of the photographers you mentioned last time?
Jena: I doubt that would ever happen, this is just a paycheck for me, nothing more.

Cee: You were doing yoga and lingerie modelling, have you been doing much of that? Are you still enjoying that line of work?
Jena: Still doing all of that, that's the only thing I do enjoy doing. Lingerie is fun! And I keep all of it, for all you single men...

Jenafer Lynn Williams

Cee: Tell us about the new photos we have here.
Jena: It's just a mix of my favorites. All genres. But I will let you in on a secret that I will be doing a very well known American Mag that most of you wouldn't think I would do...an AUS version..but still the same mag. You are in for a bare all treat :D

Cee: Have you had any memorable experiences with your modelling in the past year?
Jena: Recently doing my 2nd shoot with Zoo...always a blast with their crew. Memorable almost baring all in front of everyone!

Jenafer Lynn Williams

Cee: I heard word that you might be trying out for the Dallas Desire in the Lingerie Football League...
Jena: ha ha ha..did you? Well, I do plan on trying out and that's all I can do. Would you come watch me? I would surely NOT play nice!

Cee: So you're an American model living in Australia. Has the experience out here been different from your experiences at home?
Jena: Besides everyone hating me, and the slang...not really. I love Australia but I am ready to be home. I miss the gentlemen.

Jenafer Lynn Williams

Cee: You're heading back to the US later this year; do you plan to continue the modelling?
Jena: I don't think so. Unless I need money. I want to focus on my charity work.

Cee: What's next for you?
Jena: A year volunteering in Tanzania..I hope!

Jenafer Lynn Williams

Cee: You're the first model we've had back for a second time around, so thank you! :)
Jena: WOW..I don't know who to thank..LOL. Anything for the Movement Fam. I love you guys. xx

DJ Grain: Any words for the ladies out there that have aspirations of entering the modeling industry? Eboni: Research. Know Your Market. Stay Aware... Research the industry; especially those looking for agency representation. Know your market; are you a commercial, high fashion, or glamour model? Model Feature: Ms. Gelisa Asieba

This week I am proud to present Ms. Gelisa Asieba, representing straight out of the United Kingdom. She is a rookie in the game, but has taken all her opportunities and has began making her mark on the industry. Not only is she going to be gracing runways far and near, but don't be surprised if you her with her own clothing line as well. Luckily, I was able to catch up with Ms. Asieba for in order to get a piece of mind on the modeling industry. Check the interview below.

DJ Grain: What’s your name?
Gelisa: Gelisa Asieba aka G.G.

DJ Grain: Where are you from?
Gelisa: I was born in London, but currently in Birmingham.

DJ Grain: How many years have you been modeling?
Gelisa: This is my first year professionally working as a model , which is part time at the moment as I am studying a degree in Fashion Retail Management.

DJ Grain: What are the misconceptions people commonly have about models that are untrue?
Gelisa: The misconceptions people have about me is that I don't eat and I'm a diva lol ....I was always naturally slim and I eat like a horse so it is sometimes unfair when the media portrays skinner models as anorexic, when they are just born that way. Personality on the other hand if you don't know someone I have learnt not to judge them as you cant read a book from its front cover!

DJ Grain: What shows, videos, magazines, etc. have you been featured in?
Gelisa: I was in a fashion show for New Look charity event in March and Asiana magazine fashion show in January. Currently at the moment a finalist in the top 20 models for a competition Talent 2009 in Birmingham.
I was also recently on the front cover for Nubia Magazine May/June issue.

DJ Grain: What photographers have you worked with?
Gelisa: I have worked with a number of photographers but my main favourites were David Dwayne, Terri lee shield and C-dat photography.

DJ Grain: What photographers would you like to work with?
Gelisa: One day I would love to work with Lume photography,Tony Valadez,Scott Miron and Luic Cedeno. They are very unique and take dynamic pictures with a story.

DJ Grain: Can you describe the grind of a model trying to break into the industry?
Gelisa: The grind is extremely hard if you don't know where you are going with your modeling career , there are so many paths to take such as commercial and glamour. I have chosen to aim hopefully to be a high fashion model, which demands being unique, eye catching and a great personality. There are many people in the industry who are just aiming to get as much money as they can from aspiring models. So in modelling you always have to be one step ahead and know the ins and outs of the industry to be taken seriously.

DJ Grain: Any words for the ladies out there that have aspirations of entering the modelling industry?
Gelisa: Modeling is a very competitive industry being and loving yourself is the main foundation. Believing in yourself will assist others to also believe in you, don't watch what other models are doing being individual is the best way forward! Constantly promote yourself wherever you can and always remember your self respect.

Model Feature: Marshana H

This week I am proud to present Ms. Marshana H. She is a 22 year old small town Pennsylvania girl with a big personality. Now she has moved from a little town in Pennsylvania to a big city in Texas in order to advance her modeling career. When Ms. Marshana is not rippin the runways or photo shoots she is working nonstop to obtain her bachelor's degree in interior design. Check out the interview with Marshana below.

DJ Grain: Where are you from?
Marshana: Small town outside of Pittsburgh, PA.

DJ Grain: How many years have you been modeling?
Marshana: A little over a year.

DJ Grain: What are the misconceptions people commonly have about models that are untrue?
Marshana: People often tend to assume that models are superficial and uneducated. Though I cannot speak for everyone, I can say that looks only last so long and can only take you so far. I personally do everything I can to absorb knowledge from various venues so that I'm a better business women.

DJ Grain: What shows, videos, magazines, etc. have you been featured in?
Marshana: I was one of the first models featured in the GlamModelz online magazine. (Check it out http://glammodelz.com/glam/?p=167) I've worked several promotional events such as wine tastings and fragrance events for Axe and Estee Lauder.

DJ Grain: What photographers have you worked with?
Marshana: Jeff of Visions East Photography, Terry of Hughes Photography, Scott Cross, Chris of Chris Chapa art, Barry Simpson, Ron of Big Shot Photography...

DJ Grain: What photographers would you like to work with?
Marshana: There's a ton of them, state side and beyond. I'm interested in working with anyone with a great vision who I feel I can grow and benefit from.

DJ Grain: Can you describe the grind of a model trying to break into the industry?
Marshana: I'm no expert by any means, but for me it's just about constantly pushing myself. Pretty face does not always translate into a pretty picture. Knowing this, when it's go time on the shoot, I get into the zone and realize that leaving without plenty of shots to choose from is not an option for me. No one likes their time to be wasted, so I bring my energy to the table and I expect the same of those I work with. I'm still fairly new so it's a constant learning experience, but I love every moment of it.

DJ Grain: Any words for the ladies out there that have aspirations of entering the modeling industry?
Marshana: Be smart, strong, and mostly be yourself. If somethings doesn't feel right, go with your gut. Check references. Practice, like you would a sport! If it's not within your comfort zone, it'll show in the pictures. It's important to think outside the box and push yourself, but still you should stick to your morals and what feels right for you.

DJ Grain: How can people contact you for booking?

Model Feature: Erica R

Erica Rutledge is a 26 year old college student who also models for fun and exposure. Currently, she is a Health Science student, but will start nursing school within a year. Erica already has a Bachelor's from the University of South Carolina in Broadcast Journalism. Erica works for the state full-time and part-time at her local mall. In her spare time, Erica enjoys shopping, traveling, exercising, cooking, and watching Lifetime Movie Network. Something that you may not know about this bombshell is that she can speak French and she is West Indian, African American, and Native American.

DJ Grain: What’s your name?
Erica: Erica R.

DJ Grain: Where are you from?
Erica: I'm from all over. I am a military brat, so I consider myself from everywhere. My father was in the Air Force. We traveled as far as Panama, and we were stationed in Columbus, MS. Then, we were stationed lastly in Charleston AFB, SC. Originally, I am from Montevallo, Alabama, and I was born in Montgomery, Alabama.

DJ Grain: How many years have you been modeling?
Erica: I have modeled ever since 1998 in fashion shows and stuff. But, I started to be serious about it after I graduated from college in 2004 with a Bachelor's in Journalism.

DJ Grain: What are the misconceptions people commonly have about models that are untrue?
Erica: Well, some people are stupid enough to think that we're all stuck up and that we're loose which is so untrue. I do know of some models that fit that criteria, but I am totally opposite. Some people also think that we strip or that we do escort services...lol! I am sort of nerdy but sexy at the same time.

DJ Grain: What shows, videos, magazines, etc. have you been featured in?
Erica: I was featured mainly in magazines, like Sweets Magazine, Source Magazine, Don Diva Magazine, CandiJewels Magazine, BET.com's B-Girl web feature, Seagram's Gin 2008 Calendar Feature Model, and Fyne Dymez 2008 Lingerie Magazine feature. I was in an old underground music video called, "Say What" a few years back, but I don't think it ever made it to BET as promised :(. I do want to be in more videos, however, I live in South Carolina and all of the videos are shot in Atlanta. I do plan to make a trip to some auditions in between school and work.

DJ Grain: What photographers have you worked with?
Erica: The wonderful Shawn Dowdell, Energetice Scott Krause, talented Majiq (David Blayne) from PhotoMajiq, Emanuel Photo, arsty and bizarre Kevin Stewart, Atlanta's own Paul Lawson, Glenn from Complex Photo, David from Visual Cocktail, and nice ole-Martin Drysdale.

DJ Grain: What photographers would you like to work with?
Erica: I would like to work with Maya Guez, Jarek James, Craig Sims, Frank Antonio, Leo Marshall, Raquel Riley Thomas, Craig Huey, Laurens Antoine, and the list can go on and on!

DJ Grain: Can you describe the grind of a model trying to break into the industry?
Erica: Someone who plasters themselves all over MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Also one who creates a website to market themselves. Honestly, I kinda slack up on my grind, because of school. I'm pursing a career in nursing and it takes up all my time. But I do communicate with my fans online via my personal website www.experienceerica.com and on www.myspace.com/ericarutledge.

DJ Grain: Any words for the ladies out there that have aspirations of entering the modeling industry?
Erica: My advice for aspiring models is to think smart and stay away from "too good to be true" offers! I was scammed once, so I learned my lesson. I wouldn't want anyone else to have to go through the same thing that I experienced. Also, beware of some men that claim they are professional photographers, because a lot of them are just trying to get a quick nut. It's sad, but it's true. Oh yea...also ladies need to understand that if they want to be taken seriously in the business that they must have perfect photos. In order to be booked, clients like to see photos that show the "real" you and they have to be professional, unless if they only want a recent snapshot. So, aspiring models should invest in a good photoshoot. They won't have to drop a grand for a photo shoot, but somewhere in between $250-$500 for a credible one.

DJ Grain: How can people contact you for booking?
Erica: If anyone is interested in booking, they should contact me at my website www.experienceerica.com or at caramelledfancy@gmail.com. Also, they can go by and add me as a friend on www.myspace.com/ericarutledge.

Model Feature: Cherelle J

This week I am proud to present Ms. Cherelle J, reppin the west coast to the fullest, Riverside, CA to be exact. In her one short year of modeling she has been featured on several club flyers and even been the leading lady in the fashion show at her college. Ms. Cherelle does indeed have a bright future ahead. In between shoots and a busy school schedule, Cherelle found the time to drop a little light on modeling and the industry. Check out the interview below.

DJ Grain: What’s your name?
Cherelle: Cherelle J aka SoHollywood.

DJ Grain: Where are you from?
Cherelle: I am originally from Riverside, CA but now I reside in Fresno, CA because it is a good place where I can finish school and get that under my belt before moving to LA.

DJ Grain: How many years have you been modeling?
Cherelle: Ive been modeling for about a year now.

DJ Grain: What are the misconceptions people commonly have about models that are untrue?
Cherelle: A big misconception about models is that we are all stupid and anorexic. I personally have always been very into school and take pride in my education and I have also been naturally slim all my life without starving myself, anyone who knows me knows that food is probably my best friend lol.

DJ Grain: What shows, videos, magazines, etc. have you been featured in?
Cherelle: I havent been featured in any videos or magazines....YET.

DJ Grain: What photographers have you worked with?
Cherelle: I have worked with Feather Da-Wyz, Aubre Cummings of Studio5nine photography and Ken of Kens photos.

DJ Grain: What photographers would you like to work with?
Cherelle: I want to work with photographers who have strong unique fierce images, portray me in the best light possible and who can help me build my portfolio.

DJ Grain: Can you describe the grind of a model trying to break into the industry?
Cherelle: It is definitely not as easy as you think. You start out trying to get booked for something but don’t have any professional photos to show to even get booked. And if you do want some good photos to start with, you’re going to have to pay about two to four hundred for them. Most people don’t have that kind of money so you’re looking for someone to shoot you for free. And if u get lucky enough to find someone they expect you to know everything, how to pose, how to work your face etc. and some photographers are ass holes, you get critiqued on every part of your body and the industry is not nice with their comments at all. You really have to have a tough skin and brush off the things they say because it can really get to you and ruin your self esteem.

DJ Grain: Any words for the ladies out there that have aspirations of entering the modeling industry?
Cherelle: Its not about what you know its about who you know! Yes I’m intelligent but intelligence doesn’t get good pictures. Be sociable and outgoing with people, network your butt off and get people on your side who can help you, other people know people so the bigger your circle of hard working positive individuals, the farther you will get.

DJ Grain: How can people contact you for booking?
Cherelle: I can be reached through my:

Model Feature: Jillian Grandison - Ms. Jamaica UK

I am proud to present Ms. Jillian Grandison, Ms. Jamaica UK. That's right folks, Ms. Jamaica UK. Representing the beautiful island of Jamaica, Jillian has taken her skills way beyond the modeling world. She clearly rises above the mold of what people think the typical model is like, which is all beauty no brains. I was able to catch up with Miss Jamaica when she had a little bit of a break from her busy schedule of school, photo shoots, and various promotional events. Check the interview below.

DJ Grain: What’s your name?
Jillian: My name is Jillian Grandison.

DJ Grain: Where are you from?
Jillian:
I'm originally from Jamaica, but I'm currently living in London.

DJ Grain: How many years have you been modeling?
Jillian: I've been modeling for five years now.

DJ Grain:
What are the misconceptions people commonly have about models that are untrue?
Jillian: There are quite a few, but the main one is that models are just 'pretty faces' and are all academically challenged with no inner beauty or intelligence. I can say this isn't necessarily true at all as I've met quite a few models who are very smart and ambitious, most of whom have degrees or whom are currently studying like myself who is currently studying for a degree in Management Accounting and Public Finance.

DJ Grain: What shows, videos, magazines, etc. have you been featured in?
Jillian: Miss Jamaica UK Beauty Pageant 2008 (winner & reigning queen), KD Darlington Fashion show - London Fashion Week, Cover Girl for Flavour Magazine, Featured in 3 issues of Black Beauty & Hair Magazine Miss October on Flavour's 2008 Calendar.

DJ Grain: What photographers have you worked with?
Jillian: I've worked with quite a few photographers, but my favourites at the moment are Kosher (Femelle Studios), Matthew Hinchcliffe and Alexio Ferraro. They are absolutely great to work with, very professional with an overflow of creativity.

DJ Grain: What photographers would you like to work with?
Jillian: I would like to work with Regan Cameron, Solve Sundsbo and Steven Meisel, just to name a few.

DJ Grain: Can you describe the grind of a model trying to break into the industry?
Jillian: Modeling is very much an exciting career path, however it can be very difficult at times to get jobs or to even get noticed as it's such a competitive industry. Networking is the key and you also have to be very dedicated.

DJ Grain: Any words for the ladies out there that have aspirations of entering the modeling industry?
Jillian: First of all i would say, you have to be able to deal with rejection and taking constructive criticisms on board. Believe in yourself and stay focused on your goals. Never loose your self respect and above all make sure you have something else to fall back on, just in case your modeling career doesn't go as well as you hope.

DJ Grain: Where can we see you next/ what's next in the pipeline for you?
Jillian: My latest project has been my 2009/2010 Calendar which is out NOW! Working in conjunction with KOSHMO ENTERTAINMENT the creators of FEMELLE and FEMELLE DREAM TEAM of which I'm one of the dream girls. The calendar is filled with sexy, playful, seductive, and classy images.

Model Mondays Feature: Sashia Summers

Originating from the beautiful reggae island of Jamaica, Sashia has relocated and now resides in the UK. The recent years have seen her growth and maturity in the modeling industry with her recent signing to Femelle, one of the UK's leading Urban Model Agencies. With her portfolio boasting an ever expanding array of shoots and assignments with video features including Tinchy Stryder's 'Rollin' and Millionaire Boyz’ 'She's a Hustler', Sashia is heading for nothing but success. An independent, reliable, focused yet easy-going individual Sashia goes for what she wants. With her Barbie-Doll figure, sensual looks and bubbly personality Sashia brings glamour, professionalism, and diversity to every assignment.

DJ Grain: What’s your name?
Sashia: Sashia Summmers.

DJ Grain: Where are you from?
Sashia: Montego Bay, Jamaica but I reside in London, UK.

DJ Grain: How many years have you been modeling?
Sashia: Years (LOL). A relatively short period.

DJ Grain:What are the misconceptions people commonly have about models that are untrue?
Sashia:That we’re all airheads or shallow, and rely purely on our looks, we’re all the same in real life as we are on print or in videos (they don't understand that in front of the camera we’re in character mode), and that we are all available.

DJ Grain: What shows, videos, magazines, etc. have you been featured in?
Sashia: Tinchy Stryder's 'Rollin' and Millionaire Boyz’ 'She's a Hustler'.

DJ Grain: What photographers have you worked with?
Sashia: Kosher of Femelle Studios, Vic Morley, Daniel Rachev of Juice Magazine UK and Sean Hickey.

DJ Grain: What photographers would you like to work with?
Sashia: David LaChapelle, Matthew Jordan Smith, Frizzy Q, Maya Guez, Marques Klinko... the list is endless.

DJ Grain: Can you describe the grind of a model trying to break into the industry?
Sashia: HARD, NON-STOP HUSTLE. Continuous networking and trying to connect with the right people in the right places. Swimming through the smoke-screens and mirror operations of all these fraudulent so-called agents, managers and artists that want to feature but for no pay. It’s important to build your brand and let people know that you’re out there, so initially you have to do a lot of free jobs to build a profile and then you must start to withdraw and only work on select high profile projects. At the same time you’ve still got to continue to direct traffic to your own website. That’s the hustle.

DJ Grain: Any words for the ladies out there that have aspirations of entering the modeling industry?
Sashia: Yeah, sure. I’m always happy to offer help or advice. Stay focused, be original and have a clear understanding and knowledge of what kind of modeling it is you want to get involved in. It’s very easy to get exploited in this industry and get side-tracked from your original goal. Do your research and get an insight on what other models have to share. Also I think its very important to invest in yourself in all areas of self nails, hair, skin, physique and attire. You need to be on point in these areas so take time on your appearance and how you conduct yourself. Some of these things may cost money but remember you have to spend money to make money.

DJ Grain: How can people contact you for booking?
Sashia: Hit me on my emails: sashi2nice@hotmail.com and kosher@femelle.co.uk. WEBSITE COMING SOON

Model Mondays Feature: Tamarah Purifoy

This week I am proud to present Ms. Tamarah Purifoy, a young woman that has been on the grind since the age of 16 trying to achieve her goal of becoming more than a model - a SUPERMODEL. But after realizing that an education is the only guarantee in life, she decided to take a break from modeling and focus on her studies. After completing her studies, she decided to move from Milwaukee to Atlanta in order to be in a location that would help her be in a position where she could make some moves in the industry. After moving, things picked up quickly and the networking opportunities and work steadily increased. Ms. Purifoy is now a promotional model for Remy Martin Cognac and been able to meet celebs very few "regular" folks could dream of meeting. In 09, Tamarah plans to work harder than ever to achieve her goal of becoming a household name.

DJ Grain: What's your name?
Tamarah: Tamarah.

DJ Grain: Where are you from?
Tamarah: I'm from Milwaukee, Wisconsin but I live in Atlanta now.

DJ Grain: How many years have you been modeling?
Tamarah: I've been modeling since I was 16yrs old but took a break and I've been back for almost 3yrs.

DJ Grain: What are the misconceptions people commonly have about models that are untrue?
Tamarah: That we all have the same mind frame. I always have to let people know that I'm not the average model and that there's so much more to me than my photos.

DJ Grain: What shows, videos, magazines, etc. have you been featured in?
Tamarah: I've been featured on BET's "Black Carpet, Hell Date" and I was also featured on BET.com as the B-Girl of the week, "Atlanta Homicide". Video's I've done are Nelly - "Let it Go", Case - "Lovely", Dream ft Dear Jayne - "Fall Back". Print work I've been featured in are "Upscale Mag", Print Ad for "Miller Lite Beer", Urban Curves, and I'm the cover girl for the latest issue of "Omigawd Mag." I've also been featured on a few online sites as well.

DJ Grain: What photographers have you worked with?
Tamarah: Allen Cooley, Tim Rogers, D.Austin, Ralph Lenard, and James Rich just to name a few.

DJ Grain: What photographers would you like to work with?
Tamarah: Oh my gosh, I have to work with Leo Marshall, Derrick Blanks, and Hannibal just to name a few.

DJ Grain: Can you describe the grind of a model trying to break into the industry?
Tamarah: A model trying to break into the industry always has to be on the grind. That means you have to eat, sleep, and breathe this industry, it has to be the last thing you think about before you go to sleep and the first thing you think about when you wake up. You have to stay trying to meet new people, networking letting people know that you're serious about what you're trying to do and not just talking about it. I send out tons of emails everyday with my pictures to people that can take me to the next level. My motto is you have to be a hustler - No Grind, No Shine.

DJ Grain: Any words for the ladies out there that have aspirations of entering the modeling industry?
Tamarah: If you're serious about it, do your research, don't just talk about it. Know what category of modeling you fall in, where you can be the most successful in. Use the resources that surround you everyday as networking tools, like the internet. Also if this is your dream, know that it's not going to happen over night but if you have faith and believe you can do anything you put your mind to.

DJ Grain: How can people contact you for booking?
Tamarah: Serious inquires only can contact me at Modeltamarah@gmail.com or my MySpace.
